New Blog for First Rate Pets

Gas City, IN (PRWEB) June 26, 2008 -- Arliss Zerbe opened First Rate Pets in early January to give pet lovers a place to find quality merchandise for their beloved companions. Now she's opening a new blog at www.BestPetSuppliesBlog.com to allow her customers to communicate with her and form a community of pet lovers.

"I've always been a pet and animal lover, and I wanted to start my own business with those things in mind because those things are really important to me," says Arliss, who treats her business as a labor of love. "I've researched quite a number of wholesalers, and I look for products that are unique; something that pet owners want and need, and at the same time is affordable for everyone."

Sharing such products and passions with her customers is the purpose behind www.BestPetSuppliesBlog.com, and Arliss hopes other pet lovers will help make the community strong. "With my love for my animals, it's just something that I'm really interested in and that I really enjoy doing," she explains. "It's just something that I want to put out there for other pet owners, as well. I actually want the blog to be something fun and informative, and a way for other pet owners to interact with each other and with me, and to kind of showcase some of the products that I do feature on my web site. I volunteer a lot of time at animal shelters and make contributions to animal rescue organizations, and in the future I'm going to be discussing that on the blog and using some of the proceeds from my site to make donations."

Arliss hopes to continue expanding the business and improving on her selection, giving her customers more to look forward to. "I try to add new products to my web site two or three times a week," she explains. "I have some very unique products that you don't see a lot of in pet stores -- different types of pet dishes, collars, tags, and other unique things that I really like and use for my own pets. I want to keep expanding the business -- right now I have products for dogs, cats, and aquariums, but in the future I would like to bring in products for other pets like rabbits, birds, and ferrets."

Arliss encourages customers to post on her blog and join her burgeoning community, and looks forward to communicating with other pet lovers.
